I'm trying to activate my office2010 with my product key and it won't register. It takes the key and says that it's valid but never registers it.

From where did you obtain the product key? If you purchased Office on -line, uninstall the trial version of Office on your PC and install the version associated with the key that you have purchased.

If you have an Office 2007 trial still on the PC, uninstall that first.
