Office 2010 Professional Plus Trial Installation error 25004

I downloaded and attempted to install Office 2010 Professional Plus Trial. I get an error:

Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 Trial encountered an error during setup.

Error 25004. The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine. This is most likely due to previous Office 2010 trials being installed (System error: -1073422308)

How can I install the trial version?

If you had the Office 2010 beta installed, please remove all traces of it, this includes add ins that you might have installed such as the Outlook Social Connector or Outlook Hotmail Connector.

Also try clearing out your temporary Internet Files.

Click Start, type: %temp%

Hit Enter

Delete the contents of that directory

Restart and try installing again.
